Player Development Opportunities

Several local organizations offer additional softball skills development opportunities (at additional costs) - including pitching & catching-specific development:

• Complete Game (Lino Lakes)
• Complete Game offers pitching and hitting lessons to softball players at both an individual and small group rate. Bring some friends and split the cost!

• Minnesota Fastpitch Academy (New Brighton)
• MFA offers their Academy teams for 10u, 12u, and 14u (new this year!) players. This program runs through March and provides 125+ hours of training.
• 4-week seasonal camps and clinics are offered by skill (pitching, hitting, infield, outfield).
• Need an activity for MLK or President's Day? Sign up for a one day camp!

• Optimize (Blaine)
• Optimize is still taking registrations for both their Winter Development and Optimize Elite training programs.
• Winter Development - 5 month, single day training, Sundays November 1 through March 7
• Optimize Elite - softball training 2x/week, strength and conditioning 2x/week, open gym Fridays Oct. 27 through March 6; options for 8-10u, 12u, and 14-16u.
• 6-week catching and pitching specific camps also available

• Redline Athletics (Brooklyn Park or Woodbury)
• Speed and agility training for youth athletes starts here! Redline offers training programs that help athletes move quicker, get stronger, and compete with confidence.

• Strike Zone Sports (Eagan)
• The entire SZS staff is made up of former and current NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III athletes, as well as current SZS high school athletes.
• The team offers individual, 2:1, and small group lessons on pitching, hitting, catching and more.
